Janji Jiwa began life as a small coffee kiosk at ITC Kuningan, Jakarta in 2018 and today sells five million cups a month from more than 400 kiosks nationwide. What's the secret to its quick success? It's a commitment to farmers, partners, and its people.\ \ Janji Jiwa serves only fresh-to-cup products, sourcing coffee directly from farmers in Sumatera, which is then processed and roasted directly by Janji Jiwa. As the brand grows, the farmers benefit, too. Now, the company orders 30 tonnes of green beans every month from farmers.\ \ Their partners reap the benefits, too. Nearly 90% of Janji Jiwa stores are owned by partners, and this number is rapidly growing as Janji Jiwa looks at having 700 kiosks in the near future, as consumers enjoy the convenience of ordering from delivery apps such as GrabFood. \ \ Janji Jiwa's menu is simple and delicious: iced coffee or tea with classic flavours such as green tea or chocolate. Look out for creative collaborations too, such as the recent tie-up with the famous barista Muhammad Aga. Make sure to order the Es Kopi Susu and Es Susu Coklat, two of the most popular items on the menu that are made with the farmers, partners, and people in mind.
